About Me

Mornington Peninsula wedding celebrantsHello there!

My name is Alisa Melhuish and I am an Authorised Civil Celebrant. I live on the beautiful Mornington Peninsula with my husband of 17 years, my two gorgeous kids and our dog. Almost 10 years ago I decided that I wanted to spend my time working with people during the most important moments of their lives. Becoming a Celebrant felt like the perfect fit. Mornington Peninsula wedding celebrants

As a chef and Event Manager, Weddings were my passion. I started as a Marriage Celebrant in 2009, and what a joyful career it has been with over 150 ceremonies. More recently I have moved into conducting Funeral Ceremonies. Although a different energy, a funeral is an uplifting experience and I see it as a privilege to share the memories, joy and sorrow of a family and their loved one.

As an authorised Civil Celebrant, I am legally able to conduct weddings and funerals. I am based on the spectacular Mornington Peninsula, the home of the ‘Destination Wedding’ and some of the most gorgeous venues in the country. I delight in traveling to equally beautiful locations in the Dandenong’s and Melbourne. I am located near Bunurong Memorial Park and Springvale Botanical Cemetery, both with stunning Botanical Gardens and impeccable facilities that provide a dignified and respectful Funeral.

I relish hearing your amazing stories of love and family. I love to laugh and celebrate life and will take as much time as is needed to ensure that you feel completely comfortable with me. I will encourage you to share your stories so I can craft your ceremony with love and attention to detail. Peninsula wedding celebrants

On the day, I will be there every step of the way, no matter the occasion. I will hold your hand, keep you calm, and most of all be whatever you need me to be to make your day wonderful. I will never take more than one booking on a day, so your day is my day and you are my priority.

“To love someone deeply gives you strength, being loved by someone deeply gives you courage.”
